Skills Demand for the Future Economy 2023/24 Report

What types of jobs and skills are employers looking out for in 2024? In the Skills Demand for the Future Economy (SDFE) 2023/24 report, you can find out about this and more, including 24 priority skills that have been forecasted to grow in demand and transferability.

The annual SDFE report highlights key insights on jobs and skills matters that aim to better support individuals and enterprises make informed decisions for their careers and business.

The report highlights the top 10 demand skills of various skill clusters, including Business Management, Data Management, Production Management and Operations Management. It also highlights the top five Critical Core Skills in demand (see below).


For the first time, the SDFE report is available as an online version, with interactive tools defined by job families and skill clusters as well as a dashboard showing specific Skills Composition of the Singapore Economy.
