What Is The Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support)?

If you are a Singapore Citizen (SC) aged 40 to 60 years old (inclusive) as at 31 December 2020, you are eligible for a one-off SkillsFuture Credit top-up of $500. (This is on top of the $500 SkillsFuture Credit top-up that was credited to SCs aged 25 and above as at 31 December 2020.)

With the introduction of $4,000 SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) top-up from 1 May 2024, outstanding balance for Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) will be merged with the new top-up, and the expiry will be lifted.

You can use your Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support) for the following courses till 30 June 2024:

. Courses under the SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme

· Specific courses delivered by SSG-appointed CET centres

· Courses that fulfil training requirements for Progressive Wage Model sectors

· Full qualification programmes delivered by Institutes of Higher Learning (local universities, ITEs, and polytechnics)

· MOE-subsidised full qualification courses offered by LASALLE College of the Arts and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts

[From 1 May 2024] SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career)

From 1 May 2024, the SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) top-up of $4,000, which does not expire, can further offset nett course fees for selected courses that have better employability outcomes.

If you are a Singapore Citizen (SC) aged 40 to 60 years old (inclusive) as at 31 December 2020, you were eligible for a one-off Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support) top-up of $500 which expires on 31 December 2025. The expiry of the one-off Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support) will be lifted and any of its outstanding balance will be merged with the new $4,000 SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career).
