Alena is an ACLP-certified trainer with over 20 years of experience in Human Resource Management as well as Continous Education and Training. She is a multi-faceted professional with expertise in Recruitment & Talent Acquisition, Client Management, Sales and Digital Marketing in private professional services across South-East Asia and local Statutory Boards.

Outside of training programmes, Alena regularly pitches and undertakes industry and digital marketing projects. Her position as a Senior Manager in a digital agency gives her the dual perspective of sales and marketing — convincing clients to take up digital marketing services and executing them at the same time. It’s how she keeps abreast of industry changes and skills relevant. At FirstCom Academy, Alena teaches Effective Selling Skills and the breadth of Digital Marketing courses from Social Media Marketing to SEO, SEM and Google Analytics. As a trainer, she believes in engaging and building rapport with learners to support them in achieving their career aspirations.

As a photographer and digital marketer, Chris provides perspective on two distinct but closely related fields. Combining his knowledge in both areas, he is a jack of all trades who helps SMEs grow their revenue through customised digital marketing strategies.

Chris spent three years in Japan working as a corporate trainer and photographer — most notably at a kimono rental business where he was responsible for photoshoots and growing the company’s customer base using social media marketing, paid social media ad campaigns and Google Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). He also runs his own training school in Japan teaching digital marketing and photography.

Back in Singapore, Chris is an ACLP-trained facilitator. In his FirstCom Academy courses, apart from teaching learners how to take impactful photos with their smartphone as well as digital marketing fundamentals, Chris also specialises in teaching Google Search Engine Marketing (SEM). learners can expect a wealth of digital marketing knowledge gleaned from real-world campaigns, as well as tips to enhance online visuals from an experienced photographer.

With over 8 years of experience as a designer and 5 years of experience in digital marketing, Daryl brings a unique blend of digital marketing strategy expertise and a designer eye for aesthetics. He believes effective graphic design is greatly influenced by digital marketing objectives, combining the knowledge from both domains to produce stand-out works that captivate and engage audiences.

As Art Director at FirstCom Solutions, hes no stranger to high-profile projects working with well-known local brands like Ichiban Boshi, Four Seasons Durian, Origins Healthfood and Jinjja Chicken amongst others.

Daryl is also a WSQ ACLP certified trainer with professional industry certifications from Adobe and Facebook. As a trainer at FirstCom Academy, he gives learners the unique opportunity to discover the digital marketing industry through the perspectives of a practitioner and a graphic designer.

David Aw is a highly experienced trainer with over 20 years of experience managing and coordinating projects in the high-pressure engineering, maritime and shipping industries. Over the course of his career, David has led multiple teams and guided many people, developing a passion for helping both individuals and organisations to improve their productivity and effectiveness.
