Individuals who have attained Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) electronic certificates (e-Certs) can access their e-Certs records on MySkillsFuture. This topic addresses the features and commonly asked questions about WSQ e-Certs.

  1. What are WSQ Electronic Certificates (e-Certs)?

    Singapore Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) e-Certs are electronic certificates issued to individuals who have attained WSQ Qualification and/or Certification awarded by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).

     

  2. If I have misplaced my physical WSQ certificate, would I be able to retrieve the digital copy?

    For Singaporeans and Permanent Residents, you can log in to the MySkillsFuture portal to download a copy of your WSQ e-Certs. For foreigners, you can approach your respective training organisations for assistance to download a copy of your WSQ e-Certs, or visit MySkillsFuture portal. Refer to the section below for the steps to download certificates.

     

  3. Who can access and download trainees' e-Certs?

    Trainees who have completed their WSQ courses are able to access and download their WSQ e-Certs. WSQ Approved Training Organisations (ATOs) also would be able to access their trainees’ e-Certs. Refer to the section below for the steps to download certificates.

     

  4. How can employers check the authenticity of WSQ e-Certs attained by job applicants and/or their employees?

    WSQ e-Certs issued by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) can be verified here.

  1. How do WSQ Approved Training Organisations (ATOs) or trainees access WSQ e-Certs?

    i) For Singaporeans and Permanent Residents:

    Step 1: Visit MySkillsFuture.gov.sg

    Step 2: Click on ‘Access E-Services’.

    Step 3: Select ‘Download Certificates’ and you will be prompted to log in.

    Step 4: Log in via Singpass and you will be redirected to the Skills Passport page, where you can select your desired training records and download the e-Certs accordingly.

     

    ii) For foreigners:

    Step 1: Visit MySkillsFuture.gov.sg.

    Step 2: Click on ‘Access E-Services’.

    Step 3: Select ‘Download Certificates’ and you will be prompted to log in.

    Step 4: Log in with the Portal ID issued to you to access your certificates.

    Step 5: If you do not have a Portal ID, click on 'No Portal ID’ and enter the relevant information to download your e-Certs.

     

    iii) For administrators of WSQ ATOs:

    Step 1: "Full Access" to Course Runs, Attendance and Certificates on TPGateway is required.

    Step 2: Log in via TPGateway and click on ‘Certificates’ tile.

    Step 3: You will be redirected to ‘Certificates Download’ page hosted on MySkillsFuture portal.

    Step 4: Enter the relevant information to download the e-Certs for your trainees.

    It is recommended to use Adobe Acrobat 11.0 or later versions to view WSQ e-Certs. Click here to download.

     

  2. How will I know that my WSQ e-Certs are ready for download?

    Trainees can log in to the MySkillsFuture Portal via Singpass to access push notifications informing that WSQ e-Certs are ready for viewing and downloading.

  3. How long will the WSQ e-Certs be kept on the MySkillsFuture portal?

    All WSQ e-Certs records will be available permanently on MySkillsFuture portal.

     

  4. Can I download WSQ e-Certs more than once?

    Yes, there is no limit to the number of times WSQ e-Certs can be downloaded by trainees or Approved Training Organisations (ATOs) from the MySkillsFuture portal.

     

  5. Why can’t I locate my WSQ e-Certs in my Skills Passport?

    Please approach your training organisation as your WSQ e-Certs might not be ready for download.

     

  6. Who can I approach if I face difficulties in accessing and downloading my WSQ e-Certs?

    You may approach your respective training organisations for assistance to download your WSQ e-Certs.

     

  7. What should I do if my Skills Passport shows an e-Cert with incorrect details?

    Please ensure that your personal and course details are correctly reflected on the e-Certs. The course details will include the WSQ Competency Standard (CS) or Technical Skills and Competency (TSC) title and code. Course title will not be reflected on the WSQ e-Cert.

    Should there be discrepancies, you may notify SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) at 6785 5785 or submit your feedback at the SSG Service Portal https://service-portal.skillsfuture.gov.sg. To facilitate investigation, please provide the following information:

    • Screenshot of the e-Cert(s) with incorrect details
    • Trainee’s email and/or contact number
    • Trainee’s NRIC number

     

  8. What do trainees need to do if they have attained all the Statements of Attainment (SOAs) to qualify for a WSQ full qualification?

    Before 31 Dec 2022, if a trainee had attained all the SOAs from multiple training providers to qualify for a WSQ full qualification, trainee will have to inform the training provider which delivered the last qualifying SOA to write in to SSG to generate the WSQ full qualification.

    From 1 Jan 2023, trainees will only qualify for a WSQ full qualification from WSQ training providers approved by SSG to deliver the WSQ full qualification programme. Trainees can stack WSQ SOAs offered by the same training provider to attain a WSQ full qualification, and WSQ training providers can recognise SOAs attained by trainees from other training providers based on prevailing guidelines on recognition of prior learning.
