FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. How do I create an account on MySkillsFuture for Students?

    Your User ID and temporary password will be given to you by your Form Teacher.

    On the login page, enter your User ID and temporary password. You will then receive a prompt to create a permanent password. From this point onwards, you will be directed to a page to complete your Settings by entering your email address and setting up a security question.

    You can then use your User ID and personal password to access the Portal.

  2. I cannot remember my password. What should I do?

    From the login screen, click on the Forgot your password link and answer 1 out of 3 security questions correctly to create a new password (If the 1st answer is incorrect, system will randomly ask another security question).

    Alternatively, you may approach your Form Teacher to reset your password or call Student Portal Helpdesk at 6684 9020 if you have set up a valid email address.

  3. Why do I get an error message when I try to log in?

    If you encounter an error message, check that you have entered your login details correctly. If the error message persists, please seek help from your Form Teacher or contact Helpdesk.

  4. What should I do to unlock my account?

    You may unlock your account by performing a self-help password reset (refer to point 2 above).

    Alternatively, you may approach your Form Teacher to reset your password or call Student Portal Helpdesk at 6684 9020 if you have set up a valid email address.

  5. Can I change my User ID or password?

    No, you cannot change your User ID. However, you may change your password. The Change Password function can be found under your account settings.

  6. Will my parents be able to access MySkillsFuture for Students?

    Your parents can only access the pre-login features of MySkillsFuture for Students. However, together with you, they can access the post-login features of the portal via your account. Take this opportunity to explore the portal together, and speak to your parents about your future plans.

  7. Will the existing data in my ecareers.sg account be imported to MySkillsFuture for Students?

    No, your information in ecareers.sg will not be imported to MySkillsFuture for Students. However, if you had previously exported your information in ePortfolio in ecareers.sg, you will be able to upload this information on MySkillsFuture for Students.

  8. Can I also access MySkillsFuture Portal?

    Students who are 15 years old and above are able to access the Student Portal and MySkillsFuture (Adults and Tertiary Students Account).

    To access MySkillsFuture (Adults and Tertiary Students Account), you must register for a Singpass account and set up 2-Step Verification (2FA). To register for an account, click here.

  9. If I do not remember the answers to my security questions, what should I do?

    You may approach your Form Teacher to reset your password or call Student Portal Helpdesk at 6684 9020 if you have set up a valid email address.

  10. Can I still access my account during lesson time if I cannot remember my password

    During lesson time, you may approach your Form Teacher for the access code to log in to your account.
